Carmen joined KBM Consulting in 2019 and has over 25 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry. She provides underwriting, customer service, licensing, and commission consulting services to KBM’s valued clientele. Carmen processes new business and services existing clients, including the preparation and analysis of annual client reviews and policy changes. She initiates and processes new carrier appointments and state licenses for both the entity and individual levels. She is an advocate for KBM’s client when negotiating underwriting offers with multiple insurance carriers.
Carmen has excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to create synergies with internal teams, centers of influence and vendors at all levels. Carmen’s extensive experience has enabled her to build rapport with carriers, advisors and clients while providing exceptional service. She has a heart of gold and unbridled enthusiasm. Honesty and integrity, along with determination and dedication, are philosophies that she strives for in all aspects of her life.
Prior to joining KBM, Carmen worked for several years with large producer groups specializing in high net worth clientele. Additionally, she worked for a Northwestern Mutual agency for 10 years specializing in investment management, processing trades, and conducting underwriting services.
Carmen enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She has two children and is a proud grandma of her granddaughter which is 6 years of age. She loves to travel and explore new places. In addition, she enjoys working out and staying fit.
